Pokémon GO is officially a viral app, the memes are buzzing, and people of all ages get more exercise but also more strange types of injuries than ever before!

The question is: what makes Pokémon GO so successful? To understand consumer responses, what better way of running a brain scanning study? Here, we show the results of a brain scanning study we did to understand how people respond to Pokémon GO, and to show how people respond to different phases of the game.
